We are pleased to bring you the following additions and enhancements to EDC & CDB Developer features in 25R2.
EDC API features added in 25R2 only affect API v25.2, unless otherwise specified.

To allow more flexibility for API integrations, Study Country is now optional for all endpoints using the study_country
parameter.
The Retrieve Study Countries endpoint will now return, in addition to study_country
, study_country_iso2
, and country_abbreviation_iso2
.

For Vaults configured to deliver files to a customer's Amazon S3 bucket, the following jobs have been updated. You can now forward generated file(s) by setting the s3_connections
parameter.

Starting with v25.2, the external_connections
parameter is invalid and must be replaced by ftp_connections
when sending files to FTP servers.

For SFF API files, if multiple columns share the same definition name, the system will append an "_n" (starting with n=1) to duplicate column names. The first instance retains the original name, while subsequent duplicates are updated with the suffix. The manifest file has been updated to reflect this new naming convention.
API versioning and package versioning for SFF will be separate. In 25R2, a new package version, 2.0, will be generated for all extractions.
